Bec found yoga over 10 years ago, exploring everything from Hatha and Ashtanga to Yin and Restorative. She was drawn to yoga for its union of movement, breath, and mindfulness. Long before that, movement and dance were a big part of her life, leading her to an honours degree from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2011.
In 2015 however she discovered vinyasa yoga and that’s when her teaching journey began, to share the movement with others. She’s adventurous, positive and energetic and it shows in her teaching. For Bec, yoga is much more than just the physical practice, more than strength and flexibility. It’s a chance to focus, clear the mind, centre, and let go.
