Yin Yoga is a fusion of both Indian and Chinese healing modalities. It is literally the yin (opposite) to the yang muscular practises like Hot Flow and Hot Yoga.
Yin is all about slowing down. Holding poses for 1-10 minutes allows the body to release tension in the muscles and the fascia tissue while the mind can find rest and stillness.
Yin Yoga is an unheated class, and suitable for all levels of students.
